COMMENTS: |
This is number 100-A in Stewart Coffin's numbering list. Mr Coffin designed this puzzle in 1993, and it is well detailed in his AP-ART Compendium. According to his book, he only produced one rough model in pine, but never produced any for sale. It is made of twelve pieces and has two solutions. Though it looks totally unrelated, this puzzle has its roots in the Hectix puzzle.
Mark has crafted 25 of these moderately difficult puzzles from a wide variety of prime exotic hardwoods in this first production run. Five were given away as gifts and twenty are now for sale. Each puzzle is signed, numbered and dated. Another run will be completed to bring the total number to 40. The additional 15 should be ready in two to three weeks. |
