COMMENTS: The third in the Havanas Box series is named the "Mike", after the owner. The initial movements will be familiar to many collectors, but then....well, I'll let you wait and see! The solution has a very fun discovery moment. I've given the prototype to several friends to play with and it seems to take most of them roughly an hour to solve. Again, tough to say much more about it without giving a lot away. I'm pleased with the box and the tricks I used :)

This box is milled from solid quartersawn sapele panels for stability. All six outer panels are veneered...four with quilted sapele and the top and bottom with other contrasting exotics. The extra veneer took a lot of time! Fit is god, snug but not too tight. May tighten up in humid weather (like any puzzle box) so I recommend keeping it in a climate controlled environment.

Due to a manufacturing error, I did not have as many of this box as I expected, so it was only available to those who pre-ordered it.

Each puzzle signed and dated; 50 copies made for sale.
